Important Note

This article covers the new Authorize.net experience (2.0) and user profile in the new Merchant Interface. This article will guide partners through how users can view and manage their user profile in the Partner Interface.

How to view my profile?

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Interface.
  2. Be on or switched into the New Merchant Interface (2.0)
  3. Click Account and My Profile in the left menu or click your Profile Icon at the top right and My Profile.

The User Profile page displays your basic profile, contact, role and permissions, and notification settings.

To change your password:

  1. Click Profile Details
  2. Click Change password in the Login Details section.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Enter your new password.
  5. Enter your new password again in the Confirm New Password text field.
    • Check that the password you have entered meets the requirements listed.
  6. Click Save to update your password or click Cancel to cancel the action.
  7. If the new password is accepted, you will be logged out and see a message confirming that your password has been successfully updated.

To edit your profile:

  1. Click Profile Details
  2. Click Edit in the Contact Information section.
  3. You can then change or update your Title, First Name, Last Name, Email, and Mobile Number.
  4. Click Save to update your profile or click Cancel to cancel the action.
  5. Complete the user verification with a One Time Passcode sent to your email or select verify with SMS.
  6. Enter the Passcode from the method you selected and click Confirm to verify or Cancel to cancel the action.

To view your permissions:

  1. Click My Role and Permissions
  2. My Role will display your user role.
  3. My Permissions will display what permissions your role and user has access to.

To edit and view your notification settings:

  1. Click Notification Settings
  2. The available notifications for your user will display.
  3. To enable or disable email notifications, use the checkbox next to each notification type.
  4. Click Save changes to update your notification preferences.

Note: Always ensure to keep your profile information up-to-date for effective communication and account security.
