How to View Unsettled Transactions
Follow these steps to view transactions that are waiting for settlement:
- Sign in to the Merchant Interface.
- Click on 'Unsettled Transactions' located in the menu on the left of the screen.
The page displays the following columns:
- Transaction ID – A unique identifier generated by the system for the transaction.
- Transaction Status – The current processing status of the transaction.
- Submit Date/Time – The date and time that a transaction was entered into the system.
- Customer Name – The customer associated with the transaction.
- Payment Method – The masked credit card or bank account number used for payment.
- Payment Amount – The amount of transaction that was authorized.
Use the 'Next' and 'Prev' links to navigate through the records. The 'View All' option can be used to see all the transactions on a single page (recommended for summaries of 50 records or less). Click the Transaction ID for a detailed view of an individual transaction. The Transaction Detail page will display the 'Void' and 'Capture' buttons, if applicable.
Sorting Records
By default, records are sorted in descending numerical order by Transaction ID. Clicking on a column header will sort the result set in descending order according to the data in that column; click again on the same column header and the results are set in ascending order. Sorting can be done by any of the following columns:
- Transaction ID
- Transaction Status
- Submit Date
- Customer Name
- Payment Method
- Payment Amount
Group Capture
Selecting 'Group Capture' as the filter option will display only those unsettled transactions that are eligible to be captured. This page may be used to specify the amount that should be captured and submit the transaction for settlement. Follow these steps:
- Select 'Group Capture' from the 'Filter By' drop-down menu.
- Click the 'View' button to see the filtered records.
- Check the box to the left of the transaction ID to capture funds for the transaction. You can select a single transaction or multiple transactions on a single page of results.
- Review the capture amount text box. An amount that is less than or equal to the amount of the transaction may be entered. Leaving this amount blank will capture the full amount of the transaction.
- Click 'Capture'.
Group Void
Selecting 'Group Void' as the filter option will display only those unsettled transactions that are eligible to be voided. This page may be used to prevent any transaction from being submitted for settlement. Follow these steps:
- Select 'Group Void' from the 'Filter By' drop-down menu.
- Click the 'View' button to see the filtered records.
- Check the box to the left of the transaction ID to void the transaction. You can select a single transaction, multiple transactions on a single page of results, or select all transactions displayed on the page.
- Click 'Void'.
