Here are the possible transaction statuses you might encounter in the Merchant Interface:

Approved Review: Specific to eCheck, transactions with this status have been approved and are awaiting processing.

Authorized/Held Pending Release: These transactions are part of a larger order, with each transaction covering a part of the total order amount.

Authorized/Pending Capture: These transactions have been authorized but will not be sent for settlement until a capture is performed. You have 30 days to capture the transaction, but we recommend doing so within 72 hours. If no action is taken within 30 days, the transactions will expire.

Captured/Pending Settlement: These transactions have been approved and captured, and will be sent for settlement at the transaction cut-off time.

Could Not Void: These transactions experienced a processing error during a void attempt. These voids may be resubmitted if the batch is still open.

Declined: These transactions were not approved by the processor and cannot be captured or submitted for settlement.

Expired: These transactions were authorized but never submitted for capture, typically expiring around 30 days after the initial authorization. This can also apply to transactions that trigger an Advanced Fraud Detection Suite (AFDS) filter set to "Do Not Authorize and Hold for Review," which expire after 5 days if no action is taken.

Failed Review: Specific to eCheck transactions with this status failed review while awaiting processing.

FDS - Authorized/Pending Review: Specific to Advance Fraud Detection Suite (AFDS), these transactions triggered one or more fraud filters with the "Authorize and hold for review" filter action. You have 30 days to manually review them. If no action is taken within 30 days, the transactions will expire.

FDS - Pending Review: Specific to Advance Fraud Detection Suite (AFDS), these transactions triggered one or more fraud filters with the "Do not authorize, but hold for review" filter action. You have 5 days to manually review them. If no action is taken within 5 days, the transaction will expire.

Pending Final Settlement: Specific to transactions processed through international processor connections. These transactions have usually been transmitted to the processor. This status will update to "Settled Successfully" at the end of the pending period (currently 5 days).

Pending Settlement: Specific to eCheck transactions that are waiting for Settlement completion.

Refund: These transactions have been submitted and authorized for a refund.

Refund/Pending Settlement: These transactions have been submitted for a refund and will be sent for settlement at the transaction cut-off time.

Settled Successfully: These transactions have been approved and successfully settled.

Under Review: Specific to eCheck transactions with this status are currently being reviewed before being submitted for processing.
