Important Note

This article covers the new Authorize.net experience (2.0) and dashboard and related information for the new merchant interface. For information on how to identify what version of Authorize.net you are on, please see: How to identify what version of Authorize.net you are on and switching between them? - Classic (1.0) and New Experience (2.0)

The Dashboard is the home of your Authorize.net Merchant Interface and provides a view into important account information, tasks, and data insights.

To access your Dashboard:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Interface
  2. Be on or switched into the New Merchant Interface (2.0)

Tasks:

See actions that need to be taken on your account from the last six months, based on your user role and access. Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Tasks for managing invoices.
  • Tasks for managing transactions.

Show All Tasks will display a full list of current tasks.

Quick Actions:

This section shows key actions you can quickly take or navigate to:

  • Accept Payment: Launch Accept Payments to take payment from a customer.
  • Find Transactions: Launch Manage Transactions to search for and find a customer and their transaction(s).
  • Send Invoice: Launch invoicing to create and send an invoice for product or service payment from a customer.
  • View Reports: Launch Settlement Report to get a view into your payment processing stats and details.

News Center:

Keep up to date with the newest product updates and marketing news and tips.

Business Insights:

Get a view into key metrics in payment processing over a specific time period:

  • Time Period
    • Last 7 days
    • Last 30 days
    • Year to date
    • Custom (Note: Authorize.net provides the current year and last two years of data)
  • Settled Payment Volume
    • Net Payment Volume View
    • Charges & Refunds Volume View
  • Settled Transaction Volume
    • Summary of Transaction Status View
    • Transaction Statuses that will display:
      • Charges
      • Declines
      • Errors
      • Refunds
      • Voids
    • Clicking into the chart will launch manage transactions based on that status.

    Editing Business Insights:

    To edit what is displayed, click on the pencil icon next to it, this will allow you to move elements of the dashboard around for business insights and change the order of Settled Payment Volume and Settled Transaction Volume and future datapoints.

    You can also reset the display and arrangement back to the default using Reset to default option.
