Authorize.net Device Compatibility

The following devices have been tested and confirmed to work with our mPOS Mobile Application/VPOS Application and supported secure card readers. Please note that while these readers support additional devices, Authorize.net does not guarantee all device compatibility.

Below is a list of devices that have been tested and confirmed to work with our supported readers:

• mPOS (iOS 9.0 - 15.7)
• iPhone (4s to 11 Pro Max)
• iPod (5th Generation)
• iPad (3 to Pro 10.5)
• mPOS (Android 5.0 - 12.0)
• Various LG, Google, HTC, and Samsung phones
• Various Samsung tablets
• VPOS (Windows 7, 8, or 10)

Additional Information

Merchants using the mPOS/VPOS application can use a supported card reader for swipe or EMV chip transactions. However, if your processor does not support EMV chip transactions, the reader will only support swiped transactions.

The IDTech Augusta reader only supports EMV transactions for merchants on the FDC Nashville and NAB EPX processors. If you are not using these processors, the reader will function in swipe-only mode.

Supported readers must be purchased through POS Portal.

Notes

• Microsoft Edge and Firefox will no longer be supported for VPOS.
• If you are currently using Wells Fargo or PaySafe as your merchant service provider, please contact their support for further information on obtaining a card reader.
