Authorize.net now provides a Virtual Assistant in the new Merchant Interface, called Ask Anet.

What is Ask Anet?

Ask Anet is your virtual assistant and is an advanced tool designed to provide you with instant, accurate answers to your queries and guide you through using the Merchant Interface and Authorize.net.

Who can access Ask Anet?

Ask Anet is exclusively available in the new Merchant Interface, which is being gradually rolled out with the aim of reaching all merchants by the end of the year in incremental phases.

How to access Ask Anet?

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Interface
  2. Be on or switch into the New Merchant Interface (2.0)
  3. Click on the Ask Anet icon at the bottom right.
    • Ex; 
  4. This will launch and start the chat with Ask Anet..

Current Limitations

Ask Anet currently cannot transfer directly to a chat with support. If direct support is needed please us the chat or support case found in the support center.

Information is currently limited to the new interface and actions within it, in the future we will be enhancing and growing the information Ask Anet has and actions that can be performed.

Best Practices for Using the Virtual Assistant:

  • Ask Specific Questions: Provide detailed and specific questions to get the most accurate answers.
    • Examples:
      • Why was my customers credit card transaction declined?
      • Why did my customers eCheck transaction decline?
  • Use Follow-Up Questions: If the initial response doesn't fully address your issue, ask follow-up questions for further clarification.
    • Examples:
      • When will funds be deposited?
        • When will funds be deposited for my eCheck transactions?
  • Provide Context: When asking about a problem, include relevant details such as error messages or steps taken so far.
