This article guides merchants through managing their Authorize.net account's business information.

Business Address and General Information Updates:

  1. Sign in to Merchant Interface.
  2. Click Account from the main toolbar.
  3. Click Merchant Profile from the left side menu.
  4. Click Edit Business Information.
  5. Update your business information as needed:
    • Address
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
    • Business Phone
    • Product and Services Description
    • Web Site Address
    • Shopping Cart Solution
  6. Click Submit.

Editing Business Name, Country and Tax ID:

Authorize.net allows you to update the business name or doing business as (DBA) name for your account if the core business has not changed, Account Owner and Account Administrators can change the business name using the steps and forms provided below. However, if the nature of the business has changed, you will need to create a new Authorize.net account.

  1. To change/update the business name or DBA and or Tax ID/SSN, submit a support case and provided a completed form: Authorize.net Tax ID Update form.

Merchant Account Business Updates:

You may also need to contact your Merchant Service Provider (MSP) to update your address and business information. For more information on who your MSP is, see: What is and who is a merchant service provider (MSP)?

FAQs:

  • Is there a separate mailing address?
    • No there is no separate mailing address to list, if Authorize.net does send any mail it will go to the business address on file.
