Answer

There are several requirements to sign up for Android Pay with Authorize.Net.
  • You must have an Android app that meets the Android Pay Developer requirements found here.
  • After reviewing these requirements, you can sign up for Android Pay by using this Request Form.
  • You must enable the service in the Merchant Interface.
  • You must generate an Android Pay public key.
To sign up for Android Pay in the Merchant Interface:
  1. An Account Owner must log into the Merchant Interface at https://account.authorize.net.
  2. Click Account from the main toolbar.
  3. Click Digital Payment Solutions from the menu on the left.
  4. Click Sign Up in the Android Pay section.
  5. The account must meet the requirements for signing up:
    • API Login ID and Transaction Key must have been generated (If you or your developer don't remember your Transaction Key, you must generate a new one. If you do generate a new Transaction Key, be sure to update the rest of your solutions with the new Transaction Key.)
    • Processor must be supported (FDCN, Chase Paymentech, Global Payments and TSYS are currently supported).
How do I generate an Android Pay public key?
  1. Log into the Merchant Interface: https://account.authorize.net.
  2. Click Account from the main toolbar.
  3. Click Digital Payment Solutions from the menu on the left.
  4. Click Android Pay.
  5. In the Manage Your Android Pay Keys section, click Generate Public Key.
  6. After the key generates, you can download it as a text file by clicking Download.
