How do I Locate the Original Transaction ID?
In order to locate the Original Transaction ID to process a refund or for any other use:
- Log into the Merchant Interface at: https://account.authorize.net.
- Click Search by Batch in the main left side menu.
- Enter any information you have into the fields provided.
- Click Search.
- Review the transaction or transactions that appear on the screen.
The transaction ID is the 9 or 10 digit hyperlink in the far left column. If no transactions appear, you may want to broaden your search by eliminating search criteria if you have entered multiple items in the Search by Batch screen.
